The National Executive Committee has confirmed that the following candidates have made the shortlist to become Labour’s Prospective Parliamentary Candidate (PPC) in Penistone and Stocksbridge:

• Marie Tidball [candidate statement]
• Craig Gamble Pugh [candidate statement]

A timetable of how the selection process will occur has been emailed to all CLP members by Secretary Adam Hurst. A brief summary is below:

There will be an informal opportunity to meet candidates and the hustings event, where members can vote; both in late July.

The final hustings will be at 19:00 on Thursday 28 July 2022 at Wortley Hall. You will vote here. Please bring your Labour membership card (if possible) AND a letter with your name, such as a bank statement or utility bill.

The deadline to apply for a postal or electronic vote has now passed (Wed 20 July).
