Get Involved
We’re always looking for new members to get involved in the local Labour Party!
Knocking on doors (canvassing), leafletting, phone-banking, and other skills can all be used to help Labour win in Penistone and Stocksbridge.
First-time canvassers will always be paired up with a more seasoned member for their first few doors, and the local Party is a really supportive and inclusive environment. We canvass very regularly, in all Penistone and Stocksbridge wards.

Meetings
As a member, you also gain the right to attend meetings of your branch (based on council wards), and the CLP (constituency Labour Party). Anyone can attend either, and everyone has voting rights at their ward, however, you must be elected as a delegate from your branch to vote at CLP.
