Secretary and Officers

The CLP executive is the main decision-making body of Penistone and Stocksbridge Labour, and oversees day-to-day running of the party. It is comprised of elected officers.

The Secretary for 2025-26 is Josiah Lenton, who can be contacted at secretary@pslabour.org.uk

Local Area Teams

Penistone and Stocksbridge CLP covers a large area across two councils – we address this by operating branches to work with members and councillors in smaller areas.

Barnsley Area Teams

• Dodworth (covering Dodworth, Gilroyd, and parts of Higham and Pogmoor)
• Penistone East (covering High Hoyland, Cawthorne, Hoylandswaine, Silkstone, Silkstone Common, Oxspring, Thurgoland, Hood Green, Stainborough, Crane Moor, Green Moor, Wortley, Howbrook, Bromley, Pilley, and Tankersley)
• Penistone West (covering Penistone, Thurlstone, Cubley, Millhouse Green, Langsett, Gunthwaite, Ingbirchworth, Crow Edge, Hazlehead, Catshaw, Dunford Bridge, Townhead, and Carlecotes)

Sheffield Area Teams

• Stocksbridge and Upper Don (covering Upper Midhope, Midhopestones, Stocksbridge, Deepcar, Bolsterstone, Ewden Village, Wharncliffe Side, Oughtibridge, Brightholmlee, Onesacre, and Wigtwizzle)
• West Ecclesfield (covering Grenoside, Whitley, Burncross, and High Green)
• East Ecclesfield (covering Ecclesfield, Chapeltown, and part of Parson Cross)
